I visited a barber in Solothurn who became a TikTok sensation with his “Edgar” cuts. He’s a really cool and down-to-earth guy, and it was fascinating to see why how young men travel from all parts of Switzerland, even from Germany, just to sit in his chair.

While covering an airport tour during the “World Economic Forum” in Switzerland, I met this 17-year-old planespotter and decided to focus on her story. For her, taking a picture of the government aircraft from Azerbaijan, was a dream come true. Sometimes, the best stories are found spontaneously on the spot.

In Winterthur, we used hidden cameras to see if bystanders would intervene during a bike theft. Working with two colleagues as the “thieves”, it was eye-opening to see how differently people reacted depending on whether the suspect was a man or a woman.
